I graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in Art and Zoology. I leap at the opportunity to illustrate natural history and ecology projects because I value them and love to learn more.
In 2014, I completed illustrations for Yahara 2070, an ambitious Water Sustainability and Climate Project at UW-Madison. The goal for the project involves using scenarios as an assist to better plan for the future health of the Yahara River watershed, a future that encompasses everything in the region. This project combines science, and science fiction as way to explore the ramifications of current decisions and behaviors as these might impact the future. I'm convinced this will be an important tool in helping decision makers better plan for an uncertain future. The lead off image above is from that project.
